Detailed PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Strange frame ratio...
Lg DualUp 28MQ780-B screen is a 28-inch screen but has a 16:18 frame ratio. It is only wider than a typical 21-inch screen, but higher than a 32-inch screen.
This is a strange fit for daily average use. I like higher monitors, such as 16:10 frame ratio, but LG DualUp 28MQ780-B Screen is too high so the top part of the monitor cannot focus mine. That is not especially useful for document editing or web approval.
Design
This screen is clearly aimed at professional use with thin edges, small bottom edges and simple matte gray back. There is no halo brand or LED backlight.
Lg focuses on this by consisting of a screen arm instead of a stand. The arm is designed to clip to the back of the desk or fits the standard circular cutout found in many desktops. It provides height, tilt, rotation and shaft adjustment. Arms can even move the screen forward and back or hold it permanently at an abnormal angle.
Feature
Skip the unusual Design, the LG DualUp 28MQ780-B Screen has most of the features expected from a premium USB-C screen.
The most important thing is a single USB-C port with DisplayPort Replacement and Power Distribution up to 90 watts. This is enough to charge most modern laptops via a standard USB-C connection. It's not like some high-end models, like Dell XPS 17 with removable graphics - but that's true to all USB-C monitors currently on sale.
